Wanted | Flats

This week what I am wanting is shoes, shoes, and more shoes. Whether it's a traditional flat, a smoking slipper, or a slip on sneaker, I want it. Not only are flats on trend, but they are always a great comfortable alternative to any shoe. I actually just bought the suede Vince slip-ons and I am in love, I cannot wait to wear them. But I'm also really loving all the printed versions available. Why not make a statement with your feet? Or add to a simple outfit with a pop of prints on your shoes. Jewels On Jewels

These pictures are from a post I wrote for A Scandalously Fabulous Life a few weeks ago, but I thought I'd post them on here as well. The jewelry in these pictures is pretty much my everyday jewelry, give or take a few pieces depending on my mood. I've been really into layering simpler pieces of jewelry. So for me that means stacks of bracelets, some bangles, lots of rings, and 2-3 necklaces. I like how it makes a statement but at the same time it's still a simple more delicate look.

Got It In The Bag

So I've already shared with you my love for the store Aritzia and my love for Zara. And these pieces are certainly no exception. This blouse is to die for, the color, the feel, it's amazing. But because it is a bit sheer I put a floral cami (or bustier, if you will) underneath, it adds a cool effect when the light catches it. As for the shorts, while I normally stay away from white bottoms, these were too good to pass up, there made from like the coolest fabric, not your average white short. And while I normally don't take pictures with my pocketbook, I had to show off my new baby. I just love the black with the gold hardware, and the fact that you can carry it on your arm or on your shoulder, perfection.

I am absolutely in love with my new motorcycle shirt. I also have motorcycle printed denim shorts that will be blogged about soon, and possibly even worn as a full motorcycle outfit. I can't help it I just love how cute the print is. But for today I decided to wear it with my black and white printed skinny jeans and I love how it looks. I feel like it's almost a little bit like 90's grungy with the print of the pant, but then my super girly flip flops and all my jewelry make it more modern and fun.

My first 10th Tribe purchase! I just think their clothes are so cool and let me tell you I felt pretty cool myself wearing this shirt. It was funny because I said I kinda look like I could go help fix grease lightning from the front but then from the back its like a whole different character. I put on my Marc by Marc Jacobs flip flops which are just really fun looking because of the color and the printed studs. And all my jewels keep me looking polished and put together. (I love saying jewels, if you couldn't tell)

The Perfect Dress

I know saying this dress is the perfect dress is a bold statement, but I really do believe it. The fit of this dress is so flattering and the daisies at the waist add a cute little detail. Though they no longer have the dress in this print they do make it in every color. I highly recommend this dress, if I could I'd own it in every color. 

All Pressed Up in Black and White

I love black and white. I love how it's a trend right now, but I also love how it's never going to go out of style, I mean it's black and white. And let me just say how obsessed I am with this blazer. It's my moms but I am trying so hard to steal it. Too bad she loves it just as much as I do. But I will borrow it, and I will wear it, a lot. Like on Sunday I put it over my overalls, so cute. It really is the perfect blazer, and I really wish it were mine.

White Hot

I spotted this vest at Bloomingdales and knew I needed to have it so I did what any person would do. I sold some stuff on ebay (this vest did not come cheap), waited for a sale, and bought it. Okay, maybe that's a bit much for one article of clothing, but I can't help it when I spot something I love I get a little obsessed. It's totally worth it, though, because now I own this gorgeous perforated leather motorcycle vest and it is going to add to many of my outfits this spring and summer. And how amazing are these Sam Edelman sandals? The mirrors and the pop of color, perfection. 

P.S. I'm sure if you can tell but, yes, I am wearing neon yellow sparkly nail polish, and I kind of love it. (Orly, Melodious Utopia)

Borrowed

So, there's a story behind this blazer. What happened was I went to Bloomingdales with my mom a few weeks ago for the friends and family sale and I spotted this blazer and she told me I had to take it and try it on. So I tried it on, fell in love, but she didn't buy it for me. Instead, she bought it for herself. But I guess that's the next best option because I can still borrow it whenever I want. And I will be borrowing it a lot because it's the perfect spring blazer.

How beautiful is this top? I got it months ago and have been waiting and waiting for some nice weather so that I could wear it. The top pretty much speaks for itself with the lace neck and arms, the detailing along the bottom and the wide open back. But to add a little surprise to it I wore a floral tube top under it so that it would pop through and add a cool effect when I turn around. 

Welcome To The New Age

So I got this vest a few years ago and kept it in my closet because I think it's absolutely gorgeous. But then I was watching some really awful movie, I don't even remember the name, and one of the characters was wearing this vest and she tied the front (like I did above) and I loved it so I broke this vest out of my closet and started wearing it again. The only downside, all the beading does make some noise, but it's totally worth it.
