Snow Day

With the blizzard today I thought it would be a good day to share pictures of my amazing fur coat from the last snow storm. This coat makes quite the statement with its rainbow fur lining and hood and it is also super warm. This coat is real fur (I know, I know, sorry) but shop some cute faux fur options below:

Oversized

There's nothing cozier for a cold day than an oversized, baggy sweater. I love the cutouts on this knit that make it so easy to layer with. And buckled booties add some fun edge to the outfit.

Sleeves

Another one of my favorite looks this fall is the statement sleeve. I especially love this top which combines a bell sleeve with a tie detail. I paired it with a pair of Vetements inspired jeans, found at the last place I thought to look, the Gap. Slouchy Sweater

The off the shoulder trend doesn't have to end just because its getting cooler. Transition the look into fall with a slouchy off the shoulder sweater. I wore mine with a lace bralette, jeans, and the most amazing snakeskin boots (which I found after a year of searching for the perfect pair). The boots are currently on sale, so I'd act fast if I were you..

Golden

Yellow is not typically a color I gravitate towards. However, there was something so perfectly vintage-y yet current feeling about this blouse that I couldn't pass it up. I love it paired with distressed, high rise denim for a cute but casual look. 

Slide

I found the perfect summer slides, and they were on sale (and they're on sale in the link above too). These slides easily work for everyday or for the pool. I especially love them worn super casually with a pair of boyfriend jeans. This pair from Citizens is the perfect pair, trust me, I've been searching for a while. They fit just like a perfectly tailored pair of vintage jeans. But if you do buy them I recommend sizing down depending on how loose you want them because they do definitely run big.

I may have said it a few (million) times, but I love off-the-shoulder tops for summer. These tops are great for festival season too, and this one in particular is definitely being packed for FireFly. 

When In Doubt..

When in doubt, all black always works. With this all black look I really like how the open-knit sweater adds a nice break in the monochromatic outfit. I love this top layered over a bralette because it allows you to see the pattern better. Plus, with a high neck and high waisted jeans it shows a bit of skin without being over the top. But, of course, for more modesty you can easily layer a black tank under an open knit as well. 

Off The Shoulder

Off the shoulder tops will definitely be a go-to all summer long. They're so easy to wear and they make any outfit look cooler. I love the casual feel of this blue one which makes for the perfect weekend look when paired with jeans and sneakers. And of course an off the shoulder top gives you the perfect opportunity to accessorize with a choker (or a bandana too). Shop off the shoulder tops below:

Jacket and Jeans

I'm pretty sure I would have been very happy as a rebellious teen boy in the 50's because a leather jacket and jeans is my go-to look. It's a simple look that always works, and this spring add a bandana for a little something extra. I love this silk one from Free People because it has four different colored squares so you can change the color of it depending on what your wearing.
