With the blizzard today I thought it would be a good day to share pictures of my amazing fur coat from the last snow storm. Getting dressed has been quite a challenge lately since we've been having such warm temperatures. But I guess it just means we can wear our fall favorites for even longer. I love the idea of a fur vest because it's a statement piece thats so easy to throw on and make any outfit feel special. And it works on it's own during this rare warm weather, but can easily be layered once the cooler temperatures return.

This coat is yet another find from that wonderful trip to the front hall closet. I really wasn't lying when I said I found a really good collection of coats there. And this one has to be a favorite. It is honestly the softest coat I have ever worn in my whole life, I didn't want to take it off. Of course with a coat this beautiful I had to keep the rest of my outfit simple, so the usual jeans, sweater, and wonderfully awesome burberry boots rounded out the look. And a post entitled Furry Friends would not be complete without the appearance of one of my furry friends, so enjoy the adorable picture of Bella in the snow.

One essential this winter, for both staying in style and staying warm has to be fur. (Preferably faux, of course.) I'm still working on possibly finding a fur coat, but for now this fur snood is just the right amount of furriness . And I got it in purple to add a little bit of color to my dark winter wardrobe.
