(Faux) Fur

One essential this winter, for both staying in style and staying warm has to be fur. (Preferably faux, of course.) I'm still working on possibly finding a fur coat, but for now this fur snood is just the right amount of furriness . And I got it in purple to add a little bit of color to my dark winter wardrobe. Winter Time

I don't care what the calendar says, I'm officially calling it winter. I mean it snowed yesterday, and it is seriously cold outside. But on the plus side, I spent this weekend in the city as opposed to going back to Long Island and holiday time in NYC is just beautiful so I'm not complaining that much. (okay, maybe I'm still complaining quite a bit)  And I've gotten a lot of use out of my new coat. It's a simple, classic black coat, but it has the most amazing leather detailing on the pockets, cuffs, and zipper. I also got to wear my Addison plaid beanie, which I am just in love with.
