I don't care what the calendar says, I'm officially calling it winter. I mean it snowed yesterday, and it is seriously cold outside. But on the plus side, I spent this weekend in the city as opposed to going back to Long Island and holiday time in NYC is just beautiful so I'm not complaining that much. (okay, maybe I'm still complaining quite a bit)  And I've gotten a lot of use out of my new coat. It's a simple, classic black coat, but it has the most amazing leather detailing on the pockets, cuffs, and zipper. I also got to wear my Addison plaid beanie, which I am just in love with.

With this ridiculously cold weather comes the need to bundle up. And what better way to stay warm than to pile on layers and layers of clothing. I'm talking layers of blouses, button-downs, sweaters, coats, hats, basically anything in your closet. Because it is seriously cold outside. I decided to wear this awesome sweater with an awesome quilted texture, and since I realized I hadn't worn plaid in a few days, I added a plaid tank underneath. And obviously in real life there would be a nice warm coat too, and probably some gloves, and a hat, and a scarf..

Snuggly Sweater

Oh my gosh it's cold outside! Seriously, the temperature just dropped and it's freezing. I was cold even wearing this ridiculously comfy sweater and my leather jacket. I bought this Guess leather jacket a few years ago and I still love it because it has a hood. I love hoods and it is very rare to find a leather jacket with a hood so I'm not getting rid of this one anytime soon. But this outfit is all about keeping warm.
