Wearing: Shorts A.L.C. | Top A.L.C. | Shoes Givenchy

I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it. I have a thing for mock necks, and that along with the crochet knit made it pretty hard to pass up. To make it more wearable for daytime I layered a bralette underneath so it doesn't have such a plunging neckline and I added a pair of slides to keep it casual.

I'm going to Cabo on Sunday and I'm beyond excited! I'm can't wait for a week of warm weather and relaxation. And of course an important part of any trip is the packing list. So shop some of what I'll be packing above.

Boy Meets Girl

Today I've decided to work some of my favorite pieces in a totally different way. I've taken some inspiration from the boys for a look that's pretty different from my usual style. There's something so cool about menswear influenced womenswear though, the slouchy, laid back nature of it all just feels  effortless. So to create this look I've taken my pinstripe trousers and paired it with a basic white blouse and Zara's take on a Givenchy sweatshirt. Now, if everything went the way I wanted it to I would have been wearing these with this outfit, but of course they were too narrow for my feet. So while I'm still on the hunt for the next best sneaker, (because let's face it the sneaker trend is everywhere right now) my trusty converse do the job for now.

There was a time when sweatshirts were reserved solely for lazy days. However, the sweatshirt has been reinvented and given a new purpose. Now, thanks to the likes of Kenzo, Givenchy, and many others, the last place you want to be wearing your sweatshirt is indoors on the couch. Whether it's a simple sweatshirt paired with a skirt or some leather pants, or a statement sweatshirt with a great pair of jeans, the sweatshirt has become a wardrobe staple. And of course, there is nothing I like more than clothing that not only looks good but is super comfy. Wanted | Flats

This week what I am wanting is shoes, shoes, and more shoes. Whether it's a traditional flat, a smoking slipper, or a slip on sneaker, I want it. Not only are flats on trend, but they are always a great comfortable alternative to any shoe. I actually just bought the suede Vince slip-ons and I am in love, I cannot wait to wear them. But I'm also really loving all the printed versions available. Why not make a statement with your feet? Or add to a simple outfit with a pop of prints on your shoes.
