This outfit is a result of my mom saying, "You can take anything from my closet." So immediately I went for this Chanel button necklace she just bought. It's so cool, it's made from an old Chanel button put on a strand of pearls. The second item I took was this sweater, it's just too pretty to pass up, and I'm sad I had to give it back. And then I took my favorite denim shorts and tee and pulled it all together. 

Summer Days

The thing I love about summer is that everything is so laid back. You can just put on some jean shorts and a tank, some sunglasses and be set. A plaid shirt is a fun way to add to a simple look and still stay comfy. If it gets too hot, just tie it around your waist. Perfect for this weather which is nice one second and awful the next. And I just want to state for the record that when I have designer staples, like a Vince tee, or a T by Alexander Wang tank, I most likely bought it at Saks Off Fifth (the outlet). It's a great place to get staples like nice tees, tanks, and jeans. 

Vroom Vroom

I am absolutely in love with my new motorcycle shirt. I also have motorcycle printed denim shorts that will be blogged about soon, and possibly even worn as a full motorcycle outfit. I can't help it I just love how cute the print is. But for today I decided to wear it with my black and white printed skinny jeans and I love how it looks. I feel like it's almost a little bit like 90's grungy with the print of the pant, but then my super girly flip flops and all my jewelry make it more modern and fun. 

Officially Stolen

So, I've pretty much officially stolen this blazer from my mom. I can't help it, it's so perfect, it goes with everything! I think I've worn it at least 4 times in the past two weeks. I put this cute little floral bustier top under it and I absolutely love how the floral shows through the sheer back of the blazer. And then my go to gladiator sandals and my sunglasses complete the look. 

Dress It Up

The vest is back. But hey, I paid a lot for this vest and so I am going to make sure I get my money's worth. Since, I wore the vest more casually last time (see that post here), I decided to dress it up a little this time. I wore it with one of my favorite dresses. I love it because it's a great color and it's like the most flattering dress ever. And I put on my crazy awesome Topshop heels, which are a little difficult to walk in, but so worth it. 

Floral Overload

I really do own a lot of floral, dont I? But seriously floral is so girly, fun, and perfect for spring/summer. Plus there are so many different types of floral. How can you not love it? And since the weather doesn't seem to realize it's spring, I'm wearing my favorite black jeans and my nude flats. I really wish mother nature could give us the nice warm weather we were having back. I'm ready to lie in the sun, try not to get burnt, and wear some shorts, tanks, and sunglasses.

Right On Target

Alright, first of all, before I get into my outfit, I died my hair. And to be honest I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I mean I love the color of the ombred part of my hair but she added highlights to frame my face and I'm not sure if I like them. But I will live with them for a few more days and see how I feel. Now, onto my outfit. This shirt is from Target, can you believe it? Their designer collaborations are literally the greatest things ever. The shirt is from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection and the bright floral print is perfect for spring. And the mesh detail on the shoulder might be my favorite part.

On Trend

What I'm Wearing: Overalls Nameless | T-Shirt Free People, Similar | Shoes Dolce Vita | Sunglasses Jimmy Choo

I bought overalls. I spotted them in a store window, tried them on, my friend Sophie helped convince me how awesome they were, and then I bought them. And I am so happy I did. I'm in love. I was bouncing around all day because they are just so fun. I do eventually want a denim pair, if I can find one for a reasonable price, but I love these lace ones. They're so easy to throw on over a cute tee with some sandals. I definitely endorse this trend. 

Obsession

What I'm Wearing: Sunglasses Jimmy Choo, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Coach, Chanel

So, as you can tell, I kinda like sunglasses. Okay fine, I'm a bit obsessed. So yes I have spent quite a bit of birthday money on some nice pairs. It helps that my birthday is in June so just as I need a new pair I have money to buy them. The ones in the last picture are my most recent purchase. They are hot pink, which is so unlike me, but I fell in love with them. Anyway, I can't wait til the sun comes out so I can wear them all.
