Suede and Studs

Wearing: Skirt Maje | Tee Vince, Similar | Shoes Ted Baker, Similar

I'm usually not much of a mini-skirt kinda girl, however, every once in a while I fall in love with one I need to have. And as I previously shared, (here) I have been obsessed with skirts lately as well as anything and everything suede. So this skirt fit the bill, and the studded belt detail sealed the deal. Perfect dressed up, or down as seen here with a basic tee.

Striped Tunic

Wearing: Jeans Frame Denim | Tunic Theory | Wedges Ted Baker, Similar

When I saw this top it was love at first sight. I am absolutely in love with the 70's color palette, the stripes, the side slits, everything. It's perfect over any pair of jeans and throw a slip under it and you can wear it as a dress too. (I love pieces that perform double duty.) To add some height to an outfit with a lot of length I threw on some chunky wedges, which I felt worked perfectly with the outfit.

Pretty In Pink

What I'm Wearing: Sweater ASOS | Jeans Mother Denim | Boots Tory Burch

Normally I stay far away from the color pink, but this season seeing it everywhere had me intrigued. I decided I had to try it out, and I'm glad I did. This oversized pink sweater is beyond comfortable and I love that little pocket. I paired it with leather pants and booties to toughen up the look a little. And the dark lipstick helps give it a little edge too, well as much edge as you can give a big pink sweater. Shop some more of my pink sweater picks below:

What I'm Wearing: Pants Sanctuary | Tank Zara, Similar | Sweater Ted Baker | Booties Tory Burch

I really never wear leggings, like ever. I don't think they are very flattering and to be honest I'd rather wear jeans because I have the comfiest jeans ever. But, these are different. Honestly, I wouldn't even call them a legging if I was classifying them. They're thicker than a legging and have awesome pocket details, I'd just call them a super comfy pant. But whatever you call them, they're awesome. Then there's this sweater which I got when I stumbled upon a Ted Baker sale in June and I've been waiting for the right weather to wear it. It's so comfy, and I didn't get an up close picture but the buttons have little birdies on them. Lastly, the booties. That gold heel. That's all I've got to say.

P.S. Sorry for the total slacking last week, but don't worry I've got lots of outfits for you this week!

Summer Roundup

Summer is over. I mean sure, it's not totally fall weather, but it's definitely getting cooler. And, although I love summer, I am so ready to wear pants again, and sweaters, and boots. So, I thought I'd roundup my favorite summer outfits as a goodbye to shorts, tanks, and sandals. It sure was a great, and stylish, summer. Now I can't wait to show you what I've got for fall.

What I'm Wearing: Shorts Rag & Bone | Tank Chaser | Blazer Dylan Alexa | Shoes Ted Baker

I may have a slight obsession with dream catchers. I have two hanging in my room, four more that I made sitting on my desk, and I had two dream catcher necklaces, but one went missing. So when I saw this tank, I knew I had to have it. It's the perfect addition to both my dream catcher collection, and my wardrobe. I decided to take this tank and wear it with my favorite shorts, which would be a typical summer day outfit. I wanted to take it up a notch, so I added my favorite blazer (that still isn't mine) and my Ted Baker wedges.

One trend I've been seeing everywhere lately is animal print. I'm definitely not mad about that, I mean who doesn't love a good animal print? But certainly moderation is key. Instead of piling on the animal print and looking like I might belong in the jungle, I decided to class up the print a bit. I love the cheetah print against the white shorts, and my favorite Ted Baker wedges make the outfit complete. I can't wait to carry this trend into the fall. And the one thing I really want, cheetah prints flats. Such a cute way to add to any outfit. The search is most definitely on.

I used to have a legitimate fear of white pants. I mean seriously, there's just so many things that could go wrong. But, I've slowly conquered my fear thanks to the help of Mango and Zara and their irresistible white shorts. These shorts are just silky goodness, so comfortable. And I love white with navy, such a good combination. So when I picked up this awesome zippered tee I had to pair the two together.

What I'm Wearing: Dress Soft Joie | Shoes Ted Baker

This is another piece I bought the other day that works for summer and will transition for fall. I love the ease of this dress. It doesn't need anything else, it's just a great dress. It's so comfy and ridiculously easy to wear. All it needed was some wedges (or boots in the fall), sunglasses, and lots of layered jewels.

What I'm Wearing: Shorts Juicy Couture, Similar | Tee Free People | Shoes Ted Baker

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, summer for me is all about denim shorts and cute tanks and tees. These denim shorts are extra awesome because they are an ombred red/pinkish color. I wore them with an old Free People graphic tee, that is actually a very dramatic hi-low top that I recently cut so that I could wear it with shorts. I felt bad cutting it, but if it means I'll get more use out of it, which I'm certain I will, then I think it's worth it.
