When I took these photos a few weeks ago it was just a bit warmer than it has been the past few days. Regardless, I love the look of layering graphic tees under dresses or tanks. Just add tights and you can carry the look into winter. Also, Happy Thanksgiving!

Music Monday | Enlighten Me
I just saw Grouplove live for the second time the other weekend and have had their new album Big Mess on repeat ever since. This song is definitely my favorite from the album so I highly suggest you give it a listen, and then listen to the whole album because it's really really good.

Sleeves
Another one of my favorite looks this fall is the statement sleeve. I especially love this top which combines a bell sleeve with a tie detail. I paired it with a pair of Vetements inspired jeans, found at the last place I thought to look, the Gap. These jeans are currently on sale for less than $40 so be sure to shop them with the link above.

Blue Velvet
Going into the fall I knew I wanted a lot of velvet in my wardrobe. And more specifically, I knew I wanted a pair of blue velvet booties. Finding them at an affordable price point was a challenge, but I finally found these French Connection boots, which I am completely in love with. When I wear them I typically like to let them be the star of my look, so for this outfit I paired them with a simple black dress layered over a black long sleeve tee with white stitching.

Slouchy Sweater
The off the shoulder trend doesn't have to end just because its getting cooler. Transition the look into fall with a slouchy off the shoulder sweater. I wore mine with a lace bralette, jeans, and the most amazing snakeskin boots (which I found after a year of searching for the perfect pair). The boots are currently on sale, so I'd act fast if I were you..

The Look | Seeing Red
Lately I have been seeing red everywhere. From fashion week street style to the shelves of my favorite stores, red has taken over. I've always shied away from red in the past, since it's a pretty bold color, but this season I have been buying more and more red. This season you can stand out in a traditional bright red, or if you want something a little subtler try red accents or a burgundy hue. Bonus points if you go for red in this seasons' "it" fabric, velvet. Shop the trend and see some red inspiration below:

Golden
Wearing: Jeans Citizens of Humanity | Top Aritzia
Yellow is not typically a color I gravitate towards. However, there was something so perfectly vintage-y yet current feeling about this blouse that I couldn't pass it up. I love it paired with distressed, high rise denim for a cute but casual look.
