These weird weather days always leave me very confused on what to wear. I want to be wearing shorts and tanks, but then a breeze comes in and I just don't know what to do with myself. But, no more worries, I have found the perfect solution. Shorts and a button down. (As seen previously, here) It's so easy to wear and perfect for those days when it's a little cooler. Bonus if the sleeves roll up, because you really never know when the sun might decide to make an appearance.

Fireworks
If only I had this outfit for the Fourth of July, huh? I really love this shirt though, it just feels so summery and fun to me. And these white shorts, I got way more use out of them this summer then I ever thought I would. Such a great summer staple. The white shoes, too. Perfect for adding a touch of sophistication to a summer look.

Fall has officially invaded stores. Although we still to have a good amount of warm weather left (I feel like people forget we still wear shorts in September) most of us are ready for fall. And a new season means new trends. The ones I've seen the most, and am most excited to wear are plaid, animal print, and leather. I love the punk vibes on all the mannequins wearing plaid. Animal print is always fun. And who doesn't love leather, I know I certainly want a lot of it in my fall wardrobe. Only thing is, leather is an expensive trend. I even saw mannequins wearing cheetah print and red plaid, so amazing. I can't wait to try every combination of these fall trends.
Above is my "dream fall closet but not going to happen because it's all so expensive" wish list. And while it's fun to stare at beautiful expensive clothing, you can check out my more affordable fall picks when you click "read more."

Lost And Found
My closet can be a pretty wonderful place, but sometimes it can also act like a black hole. Things just get lost in there. Like these shorts, which are probably 3 years old, they were found at the back of my closet the other day. And I'm so mad I forgot about them because they are so cute and I should have been wearing them all this time but I wasn't. But, anyways, I've found them now. I really love the contrast of the subtle plaid pattern of the shorts against the bolder stripes of the sweater. It's like a nice quieter attempt at a pattern on pattern.

Team Leather
How amazing is this jacket? I have been searching for the perfect baseball jacket for quite some time now, and then I spotted this beauty. A baseball jacket made of leather, it's like it was made for me. And it's like the softest most comfortable leather too, bonus. I couldn't wait to wear it, and I must admit it looks pretty cute with some shorts for a cooler summer day or night.

Printastic
Summer is not over yet. And while I cannot wait for fall style, at the same time I'm still not quite ready to give up summer. There's just something so casual and laid-back with summer style that I don't want to let go of. Like these crazy printed shorts, they're the essence of summer style. I previously wore them (here) and dressed them up for a fun summer night, but they work so perfectly for a daytime look too. Paired with a cute black tee and the perfect pair of studded sandals, it's easy summer fashion.

Wild Side
One trend I've been seeing everywhere lately is animal print. I'm definitely not mad about that, I mean who doesn't love a good animal print? But certainly moderation is key. Instead of piling on the animal print and looking like I might belong in the jungle, I decided to class up the print a bit. I love the cheetah print against the white shorts, and my favorite Ted Baker wedges make the outfit complete. I can't wait to carry this trend into the fall. And the one thing I really want, cheetah prints flats. Such a cute way to add to any outfit. The search is most definitely on.
