So, here's my second venture into the world of pink. When I picked up this shirt while shopping my mom actually said to me, "I thought you don't like pink." And while normally I don't wear pink, I do make exceptions like with my big comfy pink sweater (here) or with this shirt above. Though it looks like it's a polka dotted shirt, it actually has tiny little stars and moons all over it, they are so cute. This shirt is so perfect worn by itself with some mid-rise jeans and booties, and I can't wait to layer it as well. 

Clothes For Thought | Designer Dreams

For this edition of Clothes For Thought I finally opened up the September issue of Vogue. Yes, I know it's November, but that issue is 902 pages, talk about intimidating. But, before I even got to the actual content of the magazine I had already amassed a huge pile of pages just from the ads. And not just any ads, Vogue is filled with pages of ads from the most amazing designers. So I decided to put together some of my favorite wish-I-could-afford-them pieces. What I ended up with was an amazing Chanel coat and boots, seriously does Chanel ever get it wrong? A gorgeous coat from Comme des Garçons, a Saint Laurent sweater dress with the best moto boots, and a beautiful floral print dress from Valentino. And now that I've been inspired by these amazing designer pieces I decided to pick out a few more affordable pieces inspired by the looks above. Shop them below:

Bundle Up

What I'm Wearing: Jeans J Brand | Tee Rag & Bone | Jacket Thakoon Addition, Similar | Scarf Alexander McQueen | Boots Zara

It's time to bundle up! And what better way to keep warm than with an amazing jacket and a killer scarf. I am seriously in love with my Alexander McQueen scarf. It's classic, yet cool and different, which is basically the style I strive for. I love classic pieces, but I also love those pieces that will stand out in a crowd or that nobody else will have. The classic McQueen skulls do just that, and those floral-printed skulls mixed in are so beautiful. And of course a fall wardrobe isn't complete without the perfect jacket (I have four perfect jackets, is that too many?). This Thakoon Addition jacket from last year is still one of my favorites. But I do love their new versions, that tweed one with the black leather sleeves, I'm starting my jacket fund now, too good. Shop this look below:

Plaid Overload

What I'm Wearing: Jeans J Brand | Shirt Aritzia | Sweater Aqua, Similar | Boots Zara

I really didn't plan to wear plaid three days in a row, I swear. (And I also managed to wear gray plaid two of those three days) It just kind of happened, there is a good amount of plaid in my closet right now. Can you blame me though? There's so many amazing plaid pieces out there right now. This Aritzia shirt is one of my favorite fall purchases. And while the other components of my outfit, the black jeans and the sweater, are not new items they are definitely old favorites. In my opinion no wardrobe is complete without a good pair of black jeans, and this pair from J Brand are so soft and un-jeanlike (making up words here) that you won't even know your wearing jeans. And this Aqua cardigan is another oldie but a goodie. I mean the hunter green color is amazing, and it's cashmere. Need I say more?

Snuggly Sweater

Oh my gosh it's cold outside! Seriously, the temperature just dropped and it's freezing. I was cold even wearing this ridiculously comfy sweater and my leather jacket. I bought this Guess leather jacket a few years ago and I still love it because it has a hood. I love hoods and it is very rare to find a leather jacket with a hood so I'm not getting rid of this one anytime soon. But this outfit is all about keeping warm. The Coat

I found this coat the other day while shopping at Zara and I am completely in love. The color, the amazing plaid print, the leather panel at the bottom, the pockets. The coat's only downfall is that it's not quite warm enough to wear through the winter. But that certainly isn't going to stop me from wearing it everyday until it gets too cold. With my beautiful new jacket I wore a turtleneck. I haven't worn a turtleneck since I was really little, and I'm still not sure how I feel about them. I do love the way they look, but they do make me a little claustrophobic. I'll have to wear it a few more times and see if I'll buy anymore. I finished the look with my mid-rise jeans and one of my favorite pairs of boots. 

Sweater Obsessed

How awesome is this sweater? It's so different and unique, I'm in love. And yes, incase you were unsure, that is all one shirt. I'm sort of obsessed with everything Addison makes, I wish I could buy it all. I do have a beanie from them too, which will make an appearance on the blog soon. Other than the coolness of this shirt, the rest of the outfit is really simple. Just my favorite pair of jeans and the cutest pair of booties. I can't believe these booties had been sitting in my closet and I had forgotten about them. They definitely are not dissapearing again.
