I don't know about you guys, but this ridiculously long winter combined with the dreariest "spring" weather is making me want a vacation now more than ever. Combined with the fact that most people are on or have already had their spring break while mine is still two weeks away, I'm definitely ready to jet off to somewhere tropical. Whether you're going on that dream vacation or not, it is always fun to at least pretend, right? So, here's my packing list for my non-existent island vacation weekend getaway. 

First things first I need the perfect tote, and preferably one that will take me straight off the plane and straight to the beach. Next, once I'm at the beach I have to look my best because that's obviously where I'll be spending most of my time. I love a good colorful bikini, so this red one with a woven bandeau top is perfection. A great coverup is just as important. I love this black sheer one, I think it will look so cute with the red bikini showing through. Then of course you need to accessorize with a great pair of sunglasses and a hat to shade you from the sun. 

Once the sun has set I need something cute and easy to throw on to go for a nice dinner and then whatever else might follow. The first thing that comes to mind is a romper, and this black and white one with pleated shorts is both easy and beautiful. To complete my nighttime look I'll also need a great pair of heels and a cute clutch to carry the necessities. Next, I'll want something super easy to throw on the next day. This white t-shirt dress with cutout detail fits the bill and add these studded flats for a simple and cute outfit.

I think it's pretty well established by now that I have a love, or pretty strong obsession, for all things plaid. So in that case, a perfectly plaid blouse is nothing new or exciting. Although I must say I love the colors of this blouse in particular because the pale pinks and yellow in the print make it perfect for spring. Wanted | Pearls

One trend I am loving for this spring is pearls. I have always loved pearls because I'm a June baby, so the pearl is my birthstone. But I have never loved them as much as I have right now. The classic pearl has been taken and given an edgy twist making them the perfect addition to any outfit. I know I can't wait to get my hands on a few of these pieces. Think Pink

Never thought I would make a post dedicated to the color pink... But I have to admit, pale shades of pink are are on trend for fall and winter, and I've found myself actually wanting to wear pink. This is very strange for me as I maybe own a max of 1 pink item of clothing, but some of these items are too good to pass up. I particularly love the pink moto skirt and leather jacket, it's the ultimate contradiction, baby pinks combined with the toughest motorcycle shapes and details. And that pink plaid cape is amazing, and I've been finding it hard to say no to anything plaid lately. Of course, fall is not complete without a good sweater so I will definitely be looking to add a nice pale pink sweater to my closet. Shop these items below:

Alright, first of all sorry for the lack of outfit posts. I had a stressful week of starting a few classes so I wasn't able to take pictures. But, don't worry, there will be all new outfits post next week, I promise. That brings me to today's post which might be the most random wish list I've ever created. This wish list has no particular theme it's just all items that I love. I have to say my favorite items are the Vince Camuto coat, the Sam Edelman shoes, and the Rag and Bone blazer. Seriously though, I want that coat so bad. Guess that's why they call it a wishlist..

That's right, I've found the comfiest trend ever. I have to admit I'm not really a sweatpants person. I mean, I wear them around the house, and I find them incredibly comfortable, but you will never see me wear them out of the house. Until now, that is. This new combination of ultimate comfort and style is ridiculously awesome. Expect me to style the above pants numerous ways just as a challenge to see how many ways I can make sweatpants look good.
