Here's a really awesome song to start your week off to. I'm seeing Cage The Elephant this weekend at Firefly and I am so excited I have basically had this album on repeat for the last week. 

Striped Basics

As you probably know by now, I am a huge fan of easy-to-wear basics. And a classic striped shirt is the perfect throw on piece for simple outfits that don't feel too plain. Paired with ripped jeans and slip-ons it's a super easy outfit solution for these (horrible) colder days.

Suede and Studs

I'm usually not much of a mini-skirt kinda girl, however, every once in a while I fall in love with one I need to have. And as I previously shared, (here) I have been obsessed with skirts lately as well as anything and everything suede. So this skirt fit the bill, and the studded belt detail sealed the deal. Perfect dressed up, or down as seen here with a basic tee. 

All-In-One

Wearing: Romper Joie, Similar, Similar

In theory a romper is a super easy to wear, all-in-one, perfect outfit option. In practice, however, I find it isn't quite as easy to wear a romper as I'd like it. Luckily I found this one, which fits perfectly, is super cute, and will definitely be worn to death this summer.

I'm typically not much of a skirt (or dress) person, in fact, I would be the happiest person if all I wore was jeans. But, the resurgence of the 70's has brought an influx of a-line mini skirts and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted. I may even have a few skirts in my various online shopping carts. I'm especially into anything made of suede or with buttons up the front, and the denim patchwork skirt above ain't so bad either..

I love this song, and since hearing it on the Billboard Music Awards, and a few times on the radio this weekend, it has been stuck in my head. And now, it can be stuck in your head too.. But the song is awesome so I don't think you'll mind!
