So, there's a story behind this blazer. What happened was I went to Bloomingdales with my mom a few weeks ago for the friends and family sale and I spotted this blazer and she told me I had to take it and try it on. So I tried it on, fell in love, but she didn't buy it for me. Instead, she bought it for herself. But I guess that's the next best option because I can still borrow it whenever I want. And I will be borrowing it a lot because it's the perfect spring blazer.

How beautiful is this top? I got it months ago and have been waiting and waiting for some nice weather so that I could wear it. The top pretty much speaks for itself with the lace neck and arms, the detailing along the bottom and the wide open back. But to add a little surprise to it I wore a floral tube top under it so that it would pop through and add a cool effect when I turn around.

So I got this vest a few years ago and kept it in my closet because I think it's absolutely gorgeous. But then I was watching some really awful movie, I don't even remember the name, and one of the characters was wearing this vest and she tied the front (like I did above) and I loved it so I broke this vest out of my closet and started wearing it again. The only downside, all the beading does make some noise, but it's totally worth it.

Blue Jeans

What I'm Wearing: Jeans Hudson | Shirt Wildfox, Similar | Shoes Toms

I've found my new favorite pair of jeans. Yes, I will always love my AG skinny jeans but these Hudson jeans are just so amazing. They aren't tight but they aren't loose. (Granted by the end of the day they are slightly baggier) They are so super comfortable and I love the rips, the cool pockets, and the cuffs. And to top it all off the light wash is perfect for spring. 

Don't Slouch

On second thought, do slouch. Normally I stick to a strict tight fitting pants rule, skinny jeans, leggings, etc. But when I saw this trend I decided to try it. Not only are these pants super comfy they also have amazing stripe detail and a cute little fake pocket in the back. And to top it all off they also look so good dressed up with a heel.

Okay so I think I've made it pretty clear I love jeans. But for spring I especially love printed jeans because they are really fun to play with. I love this pair in particular because the print isn't too crazy but it's enough to be the focal point of any outfit.

First of all, I took all the pictures for this week last week when the weather wasn't so nice, so sorry for the disconnect with weather and the clothes I'm wearing. So I took one of my favorite tops in my closet and borrowed my mom's blazer (I tried to steal it) and just put it with a pair of skinny jeans and my favorite new flats, and here you go. It's a really simple look but i think a blazer can really add some chicness to any outfit.
