I am 100% embracing the continuing 90's trend this fall. Not only will I continue to layer tees under my dresses, but now those dresses will be velvet. I previously endorsed the lace top here, but if you weren't yet convinced, here's another way to wear it. It really is the perfect spring layering piece that can be paired with so many different items. As the weather gets warmer I love this top paired with a shift dress. 

Trench

Just as a turtleneck was a key layering piece all winter, a lace top can easily be layered with all your favorite pieces all spring. I love the idea of a little bit of lace just peeking out from underneath a sweater, it adds a subtle femininity and added interest to any outfit. As the weather gets warmer this same top can be paired with your favorite dresses too.
