Throwback Thursday

First of all, happy Fourth of July! Instead of trying to put together a patriotic outfit I figured I'd do a fun little throwback post instead. But, I did not just pick out five random pictures of me as a kid, it's much more than that. I picked out five outfits with elements that are back in style, or things I could wear today. So first, me and my sister in matching fuzzy shirt things and faux leather skirts. While whatever those shirts are should never be worn again, leather is certainly back. In the second and third pictures I am rocking overalls (along with some awesome face paint and killer dance moves), which have recently made a comeback. The fourth picture I used for throwback thursday a few weeks ago and  seriously I want that sweatshirt back. And in the last picture not only am I wearing plaid but my Uncle Michael is wearing quite the tie.

What I'm Wearing: Shorts Rag & Bone | Tank Rag & Bone | Shoes Converse

Yeah, I went there. Motorcycle everything. I can't help it, the tiny little motorcycles are the cutest things ever. Obviously I'll wear these pieces separately as well, as seen in my Vroom Vroom post. But even though it's a little crazy, I really love them together. And I recently rediscovered my love for my converse. They've been sitting in my closet for way too long! I feel like they add to the overall "cool" vibe of the outfit, but then all my gold jewelry keeps it feminine and fun. And how cute is my best friend Becca trying to flee the third photo :) 

If you had the pleasure of seeing the movie Grease 2, then you'll recognize the title of the post is a nod to a song in the movie. My sister and I were a little obsessed and would sing it all the time. (Hey Danielle!) But if you haven't seen the movie, don't worry you're not really missing out.

What I'm Wearing: Shorts Free People | Tee Ted Baker | Shoes Dolce Vita

I have a tendency to gravitate towards fun, sometimes, weird clothing. So when I see something like a shirt with zoo animals on it like giraffes and elephants, I need to get it. That's why I love this adorable Ted Baker tee with animals forming a T, it's just too fun. I wore it with leather shorts just to dress it up a little bit but it would really work with anything.
