Wearing: Shorts A.L.C. | Top A.L.C. | Shoes Givenchy

I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it. I have a thing for mock necks, and that along with the crochet knit made it pretty hard to pass up. To make it more wearable for daytime I layered a bralette underneath so it doesn't have such a plunging neckline and I added a pair of slides to keep it casual. 

Midi

The midi dress is a trend that I've stayed away from for a while because I wasn't sure if I could pull it off with my height. However, I recently tried it out because I loved the look so much on other people and it turns out it works. I love the sheer top on this dress too because you can easily play with the styling and add a cute bralette underneath (which I did, but it didn't come out very well in the photos). Unfortunately, this dress is no longer available, but shop other midi dresses below:

I found the perfect summer slides, and they were on sale (and they're on sale in the link above too). These slides easily work for everyday or for the pool. I especially love them worn super casually with a pair of boyfriend jeans. This pair from Citizens is the perfect pair, trust me, I've been searching for a while. They fit just like a perfectly tailored pair of vintage jeans. But if you do buy them I recommend sizing down depending on how loose you want them because they do definitely run big.
