Tropical

Wearing: Jeans Citizens of Humanity | Top Aritzia  | Shoes Vince Camuto, SimilarSimilar

I normally don't wear a lot of prints but when I saw this top I knew I needed to have it. Unfortunately, it seems to now be sold out, but shop other tropical prints below:

Reimagined

Wearing: Dress TheorySimilar | Slip Commando | Sneakers Nike

I bought this top last spring and while I'm in love with it I've had some trouble styling it because of how long it is. But I recently bought the perfect little black slip, which works so well layered under the shirt. The slip allows me to wear the top as a dress instead, giving it a whole new life.

Jacket and Jeans

Wearing: Jeans Citizens of Humanity | Tee Aritzia, Similar | Jacket MajeSimilar | Bandana Free People | Sneakers Nike

I'm pretty sure I would have been very happy as a rebellious teen boy in the 50's because a leather jacket and jeans is my go-to look. It's a simple look that always works, and this spring add a bandana for a little something extra. I love this silk one from Free People because it has four different colored squares so you can change the color of it depending on what your wearing.

Music Monday | Ain't No Rest For The Wicked

I'm so excited because I'm seeing Cage The Elephant tonight at SummerStage. So, in honor of tonight's concert here's a throwback to a classic Cage song from their first album. Enjoy!

The Bomb

Wearing: Jeans Citizens of Humanity | Tank Twenty | Bomber Urban Outfitters | Shoes Sam Edelman

The way to make any outfit better this spring is definitely to add a statement bomber jacket. I love this one from Urban Outfitters with floral embroidery. It's perfect thrown over a simple tank and jeans. And to take things up another notch I added lace-up heels (which I borrowed from my sister).
