Happy Monday! Today I start classes so I'm singing the above song to summer since it is officially over for me. And I'm also wishing I hadn't stayed up so late to watch the VMAs, but like with Rihanna, Beyonce, and Britney how could you not watch?

Tank Dress

When the weather is this hot I try to wear as few pieces of clothing as possible. Tank dresses have become my go-to piece this summer. I love to layer them over a tee, but during a heat wave they do pretty well on their own. And of course, a bandana goes with everything lately.

I ventured into the land of midi dresses once again. This time I went for a wrap silhouette and layered a striped tank underneath to add some interest to an otherwise all black look.

We all know one of the best items to have in your closet is a little black dress. This ruffled slip dress is no exception. Its shape and material make it easy to dress up or down. It looks just as good with a pair of sandals or heels as it does with a pair of sneakers.
